Rotation II

Another picture with long exposure. This time I went out to look for the Pole star in the sky, after midnight when it was cold outside (brrr...). You have to make sacrifices in order to take these kinds of pictures. But it's fun to see the results:-). It is the star, which is static in the sky while the other stars leave traces behind while the shutter is open when the Earth's axis rotates. It is seen as a white dot on the top side, in the middle of the picture.

Exposure 1685,0 sec, f/4,2, Focal Length 15,0 mm, ISO 200. Lens: 10.0-24-0 mm, f/3,5-4,5.
The image is processed in Lightroom 2.
