These dragonfiles are difficult to capture to get picture on. But this would certain be photographed. But it is very ugly up close, isn´t?


1. Exposure 1/750 sec, f/3.3, Focal Length 105,0 mm, ISO 200. Lens: 105.0 mm, f/2.8.
2. Exposure 1/500 sec, f/3.5, Focal Length 105,0 mm, ISO 200. Lens: 105.0 mm, f/2.8.
The image is processed in Lightroom 3.

I think you have accomplished the IMPOSSIBLE here. I sat for over 30 minutes today on my porch trying to shoot 1 of 2 blue dragonflies on my water irises. No luck! The minute I would zoom is, off they would fly. I was so frustrated I finally gave up. Your shots are awesome even tho’ the guy is pretty ugly. Great photography. Sorry my entry went in 3 time tonight. Mr. Linky was rally acting up and did a mean trick on me. I am so sorry. Hope Lisa can remove 2 of them. Genie
